Whelped one of a litter of two, Rusty was bred in 1938 with a low inbreeding coeficient of 6.4% and had no full siblings. Only the significant Ch. Colonsay All Kiff earned a title out of his 65 paternal half siblings. Kiff earned his place in history as the first American Drop Ear Champion Dog, Black and Tan.
