Bluebell was bred by Victor and Daisy Page of Waveney Valley Kennels in 1950 with an inbreeding coefficient of 18.5% with two littermates and two full siblings, none of which earned their championship. There were only 4 champions among the 103 half siblings on her sire's side, including the significant Eng. Ch. Waveney Valley Alder and Eng. Ch. Waveney Valley Aldersista. There were no half siblings on her dam's side and she herself was bred only once producing 4 puppies, none of whom earned their championship.
