Randolph was bred by his owners Mrs. M.C. West and Miss W. West in 1948 with 1 littermate and two full siblings. His littermate and one full sibling achieved their championship. There were no half siblings on his dam's side, but the one half sibling on his sire's side was a champion. It is surprising to note that Randolph was only bred twice producing just two progeny, one of which earned her title. He was the first recorded dual (English and American) Champion and the 14th recorded Eng. Champion. Randolph was exported to the USA after winning his (UK) Championship status which he gained when he was only 10 months old, so he left no stock in England.
